kevinsprague112513-014bw-219pxsqThanks for visiting my website at sprague.gallery. This site has been developed to allow me to connect people to my photography and artwork online and provide a place to experiment with new ideas around photography which has been my lifelong passion.

I am the Creative Director and owner of Studio Two – a design and branding agency based that has been doing creative work for clients since 1994. You can learn more about Studio Two at our website here.

I also work as a consultant and adviser to organizations – both for-profit and non-profit – on topics such as ecommerce, web development, CRM systems, SEO/SEM, digital asset management, photography, branding and more. I maintain a blog at kevinsprague.com and you may also learn more about me and my work and personal life there.

My photography over the course of my career has been focused primarily on bringing beauty to the world. In my commercial work I see to celebrate and illuminate. In my personal work I enjoy exploring the boundaries of technology and the development of new ideas and skills. For me, photography is a learning platform – a place where I get to explore freely and be an artist – a place where I can take creative risks and have fun.

My photography spans more than a million images from nearly every category (you can browse some of that diversity on my flickr site here.) On this site I am highlighting specific collections that I hope will appeal to collectors of photography as art. I hope to continue to add and develop the offerings on this site.

Technically speaking, I am a digital photographer – I do not shoot film. My cameras include Nikon, Canon and Olympus as well as my iphone – I enjoy exploring experimental and fringe optics like lensbaby and antique lenses. I also enjoy the aesthetics of cameras themselves as objects and have put together a growing collection of iconic cameras from the past. My apparel line is about celebrating the camera as object.

I make my own prints on a large-format HP Z3200 giclée printer onto archival papers. If you would like to know more about that please contact me.

Thanks for your time and I appreciate your interest.
